3 Antwerpen Rd, Balule Nature Reserve, 1380
Nyala Safari Lodge is situated in the Balule Nature Reserve. As there are no fences between the neighbouring farms it forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park. This reserve comprises pristine, indigenous bushveld and has an abundance of wildlife including lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino.
Family and friends are important here at the small and private Safari Lodge. The 5 spacious rondavels sleep 2 adults comfortably in each with space for young children. Two catering options are available… home-cooked South African meals prepared by the cheerful cook or have the camp all to yourselves with a fully equipped large kitchen to self-cater.
Your stay includes two safari adventures each day led by our professional safari guides. Explore the wonders of this vast 2400 hectares of bushveld and immerse yourself in the thrill of tracking!
Open safari 4×4 vehicles immerse you completely into the surrounding eco-systems, allowing you maximum viewing opportunities as you explore the network of roads, tracks and trails on the reserve. These safaris take place twice a day, in the early morning and later afternoon rolling into early evening, and each drive lasts approximately 3 hours. Your experienced safari guides will share their years of expertise and knowledge with you, helping you to understand the ways of wild Africa and give you fresh appreciation of the world around you.
Your safari adventure also continues once you are back at the lodge. We have a range of field guide books to page through so you can further identify any other birds or animals you may spot in and around the lodge.
The Safari Lodge itself has been designed to have a low impact on our fragile environment, a sustainable grey water system is used, as recycling and water-saving is a priority.
Please note that we answer all emails usually on the same day. If you have not received a reply in 2-3 days, we have probably not received your email, our response landed in your junk mail folder, or (very rarely) our emails bounce back from your ISP or email provider (in which case we most likely have no alternative way to let you know)
