This 800 hectare estate comprises of beautiful indigenous bushveld, an abundance of free roaming wildlife, including leopard which are occasionally spotted out on the prowl.
eKhaya is an intimate safari home with 6 bedrooms, communal dining room, outside traditional boma and landscaped gardens.
A dip in the inviting plunge pool with the “Safari Drink” of choice… a Gin and Tonic is the ideal way to end a hot summers day.
Each morning you will be presented with an array of fresh fruit, yoghurt, home-made muesli, fruit juices as well as an assortment of teas and coffees for your enjoyment. The hot breakfasts range from favourites such as Eggs Benedict, savoury mince on toast to a classic full English breakfast.
They will do their utmost to accommodate any special dietary requirements. Although eKhaya Bush Villa operates on a bed and breakfast basis, they are able to arrange additional meals on request.
Aside from the many wonderful attractions in and around the Hoedspruit area, within the estate there are walking and cycling trails, 3 dams, and numerous bird hides to visit at your leisure.
Home away from home. A blend of colonial and traditional African styles has inspired a wonderfully interwoven decor palette which offsets the beautiful scenery around the villa.

The town of Hoedspruit – the centre of South Africa’s safari industry – is just a stone’s throw away. With some great restaurants, coffee shops and pubs, as well as an array of curio, decor and art shops and one of the most well-stocked wine merchants outside the Western Cape. Hoedspruit offers a fairly quiet nightlife with only a few restaurants staying open late – most visitors to this area agree however, that this adds to the unique old-world charm this small town has to offer.
