Suites
Accommodating 6 people in superlative style, these beautiful, tented suites offer uncompromising levels of luxury and comfort with a personal butler service and private concierge facilities, ensuring your stay at Oase is exceptional at every turn.
Consisting of an intimate double suite and a two-bedroom family suite, the spacious and airy tents have been custom designed to deliver. With sumptuous en-suite bathrooms featuring indoor and outdoor showers and bathtubs just perfect for soaking, the Milestone Suites bedrooms are akin to boudoirs with their plush beds and luxurious linen and a range of wonderful textures designed to encourage total tranquillity.
A communal deck and fire-pit with wonderful views out over the wild landscapes of Oase are available exclusively for guests of the Milestone Suites and provide the perfect place for intimate private dining experiences as well as relaxation and cooling off in the sparkling plunge pool.

From the picture-perfect Lavender Bistro with its own brand of French-inspired café culture and menu filled with delicious dishes to the wonderful boma where you can dine in style under a billion stars, listening to the sounds of the African night as you sample a traditional South African "braai" (the local vernacular for barbecue).
Enjoy a sensational picnic alongside the Blyde River (you tell them what you want them to pack and they take care of the rest) or sample the region's wonderful craft gins as the sun dips to kiss the horizon.
Sundowners is a safari tradition we embrace and Oase is filled with amazing locations for this time-honoured celebration that marks the end of each spectacular day in the bush. From their elevated viewing deck to the lush riparian forests along the river, sunset is a special time of day when we raise a glass to wild Africa and share experiences.
You can choose a private dining experience on the Milestone Suites' pool deck next to a crackling log fire or in the privacy of your suite if you prefer. Sample some of the wonderful vintages South Africa is famous for with our range of excellent wines and allow them to pair them effortlessly with lovingly prepared dishes designed to complement each bouquet.
Activities
With more than 30km of bush trails waiting to be explored on the 530ha Oase reserve, you're free to explore on foot; in your own electric 4x4 buggy or on a game drive in an open safari vehicle with a professional safari guide at the wheel. Oase is home to a wide variety of wildlife from giraffe, wildebeest, kudu, impala, zebra, nyala and warthog to leopard, which occur naturally in these beautiful surroundings. It's also where you'll find more than 300 bird species, many of which are endemic to this beautiful region. And if the Big Five beckon, allow them to arrange a privately guided full-day safari to the nearby Kruger National Park.
They also have 1,5 km of river frontage on the beautiful Blyde River, where you can birdwatch and fish.
For a night to remember, indulge in a wilderness sleep-out under the stars on the wonderful 6m high viewing deck. Enjoy a private dinner before climbing into a wonderful bed under the African night sky. Wake up to the most incredible sunrise over the vast landscapes of South Africa's Lowveld and enjoy an al-fresco breakfast before returning to your suite.
The Greater Kruger region is renowned for its incredible natural beauty with the breathtaking Blyde River Canyon just an hour away. This 26km stretch of the dramatic northern Drakensberg escarpment is the third largest green canyon in the world and marks the start of the aptly named Panorama Route that includes unique geological features, waterfalls and viewing points along its length.
They are able to arrange privately guided day tours of the Panorama Route but the best way to experience the Blyde River Canyon is by helicopter, stopping on a remote mountain top for a picnic along the way. Alternatively, take a guided private cruise of the Blyde Dam and experience the towering peaks of the Drakensberg escarpment from the water, spotting hippos and crocodiles as you go.
If an aerial excursion of a more sedate nature appeals, then try hot air ballooning and experience the grandeur of the mountains and the vast expanses of the Greater Kruger wilderness as you take to the skies in this most ancient form of flight.
The Oase Spa will be completed in the first quarter of 2022 and will offer a range of treatments and massages to guests and yoga can easily be arranged in a setting of your choice.

Birding & Fishing
Along the 1,5km of Blyde riverfront you'll find a large diversity of fish, birds and amphibian life. There are also a pair of resident Cape clawless otters that are frequently seen and we're always on the lookout for the elusive Pel's fishing owl! Fish eagles are also often sighted along the river in search of prey. So why not come for some birding or fishing, or both?
